The Wine & Spirit Education Trust was founded in 1969 to provide high quality training in wines and spirits and is now the foremost international educational body offering a wide range of industry approved and recognised qualifications. The vast majority of vacant positions in the wine and spirit/hospitality industry will require WSET qualifications.

WSET courses are not just for those entering or working within the trade but are also aimed at wine consumers and enthusiasts who wish to gain a formal qualification or to increase their own knowledge.

The Wine & Spirit Education Trust works through a series of Approved Programme Providers. These external providers pass rigorous checks to ensure they deliver the high standard of teaching required to pass WSET qualifications
